The course evolved over the years with several designers and was completed by William Flynn in 1927. Here is a spectacular view of the course where golf has been played for over a century. The course ranked No. 20 in Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Golf Courses 2007-08, and had the distinction of hosting the U.S. Open in 1913, 1963 and 1988.
